I’m a customer-facing AI research leader dedicated to bringing clarity, vision, and strategy to the next frontiers of AI.
As Senior AI Research Manager at Salesforce, I lead a team of researchers and engineers advancing enterprise-ready innovations in AI Agents, On-Device AI, Small Language Models, and efficient LLMs. Our mission is to bridge cutting-edge research with real-world products that transform how businesses harness AI at scale.
Over the course of my career, I’ve authored 35+ research publications, filed 20+ patents, and led enterprise deployments shaping the future of AI. My work is deeply motivated by the belief that AI should not only be groundbreaking in theory, but also practical, reliable, and trusted in the hands of customers.
Before joining Salesforce, I honed my expertise at Intel, IBM Research, MITRE, and the Department of Defense, gaining a wide perspective on the interplay between research and engineering. I hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics (Machine Learning Theory) from the University of Illinois at Chicago, an M.S. in Mathematics from Northwestern, and a B.S. in Mathematics from MIT.
Beyond research, I’m passionate about public speaking, teaching, and mentoring the next generation of AI innovators. I thrive on collaboration, storytelling, and making complex ideas clear and actionable.
Outside of work, I’m energized by CrossFit, hiking, and reading, and I never miss a chance to laugh with friends, family, or my cat. I also enjoy strategy games like Civilization VI, which satisfy my love for problem-solving and long-term vision.
